"Blue Gull: A Copper Experiment"​
  Have you ever just allowed your inner child to play.
This was the way Blue Gull began...
The entire piece was created by placing copper
sheets on the canvas and
then adding a oxidizing solution to pour
down over it. It reminded me of the ocean.
So the gulls came out to play.
When I began the final sealing process
the gulls turned blue with oxidization.
​It was a happy accident and I fell in with "Blue Gull."
