When Dreams Take Flight

"There comes a moment when the dream we have carried quietly within us unfurls its wings.           
​ Today, mine has taken flight"

 I love this quote that I saw; it didn't have someone's name attached to it, but the words have left
me thinking how truthful they are. 
"Don't forget to look around...where you're standing was once the goal.

Do you believe that dreams whisper to us, asking to be trusted. 
Maybe you have a continuous thought about a dream and feel you should do something,
or you have always wanted to do go visit somewhere or become an artist,
​write a book, start your own company
or be the first one in your family to become a millionaire. 
You don't have a clue or maybe you do as to how you will achieve these feats. 
  You find yourself thinking about it, and sometimes you entertain it. 
Then your ego begins talking to you and cautions you to play safe,
it gives you a bunch of stinking thinking like you can't do that,
you don't even know how to do it;
your ego say's "don't you think it's easier to just stay where we are"?

Well, I put a squash to my ego years ago when it was telling me that I couldn't move to Mexico. 
My ego and I had several conversations many times,
either my ego could become a partner to my dreams and support me
or go sit on the fence and be quiet. 
That was what my mother would tell us as children when we weren't playing nice...go sit on the fence until you can play nicely with everyone else.  
I found that if I started talking to my ego self and I would begin with a sentence that I still use today.
 I would reassure and tell my ego that it was going to be safe and that we're just going to try this new thing, we're just going to see if it's a right fit, we're just testing the waters,
and we can return to the old way if necessary. 
That would always work, as I found myself expanding exponentially.  
Today the resistance comes less often.
The resistance will still visit.
 She doesn't disappear; she gets tamed.
You feel the doubt, you name it, you pick up the brush or the pen anyway.  
Today my ego and I are friends and we are always trying something new.  
Kick fear to the curb and try something you've always wanted to do. 
Don't wait, start small and keep taking the next right step.

​It is woven with patience, doubt, hope, and persistence.  Each step is a quiet act of faith."

I am in awe that throughout our lives, there are seeds that are being planted.  
Many lie dormant for years and years until the right moment comes when they sprout.

"Dreams are not only visions of the night-they are seeds of light, waiting for the right season to bloom."

THIS IS MY SEASON TO BLOOM

  

I have been quietly working on this book project for actually over a year.  
It's for my daughters Janelle and Christa, and my granddaughter's Lennon and Ophelia. 
I have dreamed of becoming a children's author for many years.  
I am so grateful to those that helped me believe that I could be an author.  
I heard that you should keep quiet until the fruit of your labor appears.
I have shared with only a select few people who were my helpers.
Today I thank you, Christa J. Clark, Maitreya Cempaka for helping me see that yes, I can, and for 
​my daughter Janelle for which the dream was born through and my higher angelic guidance.  

"There is such a difference when you get to than when you have to".
​That is one of the most important shifts a human being can make, and most people never fully arrive there.
I'm so grateful this truth has arrived within me. 

Thank you all for your time, thank you for following my dreams, thank you for sticking around each month and listening to my journey.  Great things are happening and I love sharing them with you. 
I hope you'll buy my book and read it to your children and grandchildren.  
I hope my dreams spur your dreams into action.
