Dreams...Inspire my art

Series: "Angels Among Us", #1 in the series.      Name of Painting: (open for discussion)

Do you have dreams?  Do you ever try and figure them out?  What are they speaking to you?  
Dreams are a big way in which I get inspiration for my art.  Sometimes I am flooded with ideas...and yes, I try to write them all down.  Another way I receive is through visions.  These visions can be like an impression and visual thought I can get.  Sometimes they won't leave me alone...meaning they will hang around me for days.  

In these new times, I am taking note of all images, thoughts and ideas.  It's like getting a free gift from God.  Even if I don't act right away on them...I find they will keep speaking to me for even months and years after receiving them.

The painting above started out as mountains and a river and then shifted into something else...often this will happen when I create from a free-flowing idea.  I made the mountains using a texture paste, then I added some gold leaf, then it set...weeks go by.  I add some blue for a river...weeks go by.  Then the painting begins to speak.  Angels come to me in my dreams, messages of feathers falling from the skies, thousands of feathers...an idea comes to me...and the painting speaks to me...I want to be an angel.  Angels among us, a message for the masses, a message of hope, and then I faith into action.  After two weeks of forming feathers with texture paste, a Dremel for carving in feather lines, constant adjustment of what she wants to look like.  When I finish...I just love her.  She is speaking to me, is she speaking to YOU?  What do you think she is saying?  What do you think her name is?  Write to me, reach out, I want to hear from you, what would you name this piece? 

I have heard a few names; the first one was Haniel.  Archangel Haniel, also known as Anael or Hanael, is a figure in Jewish angelology often associated with love, joy, and the planet Venus.  Haniel is also seen as the archangel of intuition and is said to guide individuals toward a joyful path by encouraging them to trust their inner guidance and follow their passions.  

This seems fitting...as God is speaking to me about finding joy in every moment, to help others find happiness within themselves by following their passions and to learn to trust the inner guidance.  I have been led to explore my passions and embrace the present moment.  

This painting was fun and came easily to me.  What do you think of the name Haniel?  Another name I heard was Aurelia symbolizing balance and tranquility.  She definitely exudes balance and tranquility, and the name Aurelia is derived from the Latin word for golden or the dawn, and she is all of that.

Maybe a new thought is based on how many will be in the series...there is 9 total.  The number of completions my daughter Christa tells me.  So maybe each one should be named for the qualities of love and light.  For an example, it may be Harmony, Unity, Joy, Compassion, Purity, Wisdom, Integrity, Humility and???  What would the last one be?

I have been dancing with angels for years...and they have been teaching me about my highest consciousness and embodying qualities that represent the truth of the light of love. 

Angels are not separate beings from us, at least that is how I feel about it since my near-death experience.  We ourselves were created in their likeness and the likeness of God, so if you think of God and angels as supreme beings then the next time you look in the mirror...yep, that's right consider yourself the same as God and angels.  We are not greater or lesser but instead we are One With All.  All created from the very source of creation.  God is within each person and the great awakening is the awareness of this and it's called Christ Consciousness.  We are all born with this awareness, we have just forgotten, and the world has taught us that God is out there somewhere and that he/she is separate from us.  

God has so many names and some think of God as a He and others a She, how about looking at God as both he and she as Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine the perfect harmony of both.

Other names God is known by is Source as in the Source of All creation, or the Prime Creator of All, or first nations often termed Wakan Tanka for Sacred Spirit, or Kitch Ogiima the Great Headman.   God doesn't seem to mind all the names...what matters is our heart, that we know without a shadow of doubt that we are loved, that We Are One and there is NO SEPARATION!
